Andrew Bevacqua- Technical Director
Andy graduated from Full Sail Real World Education with an AS in Film and Video. He then attended the University of Wisconsin- Stevens Point and graduated with a BFA in Theatre Design Tech. He has set designed for Anne of Green Gables, Godspell, Frankenstein, Footloose, State Fair, Joined at the Head, Wings, F 451. He has designed lights for Ragtime, The Rocky Horror Show, Frankenstein, Footloose, Psycho Beach Party, State Fair, Songs for a New World, the 06-07 Dance Stage, 05-06 After Images.
Emma Smith- Costume Designer, Box Office Manager, Administrative Assistant
Emma is a junior at Ball State University and will graduate with a degree in Telecommunications with minors in Art and Spanish. She has costume designed for State Fair, Footloose, Ragtime, Godspell, and Oklahoma and assistant costume designed for The Rocky Horror Show and Anne of Green Gables since beginning work at Civic last May.
James Edmond- Box Office, Administrative Assistant
James graduated from Beach Grove High School and is attending Ball State University with a major in social work. He has performed in productions of Stolen Identity, Fiddler on the Roof, Harvey, Lost in Yonkers, and is the costume designer for Anne of Green Gables. He loves the theatre and plans to always have it in his life in someway.
Jim Trulock- President
Jim graduated from Wabash with a degree in Political Science, then went to Indiana University and graduated with a JD Degree. He is now the president of Indiana Title Insurance Co. and has two children, Carly and Wilson, who love to attend Civic shows.
Michael O’Hara- Vice President
Committees: Artistic and Building Committee
Michael graduated from Fordham University with a BA in English and from the University of Maryland with a PhD in Theatre. He currently works as a Sursa Distinguished Professor of Fine Arts at Ball State University. He has been involved in productions of Lend Me a Tenor, Musical Comedy Murders of 1940, Company, Look After Lulu, If it was Easy, Moon Over Buffalo and A Christmas Story.
Cassandra Miller- Treasurer
Cassie graduated from Ball State University with a degree in finance and is now a banker at Old National Bank.
Matt Wolfert- Associate AD/ External Affairs

Matt graduated from Indiana University with a degree in Sports Management. He is now the Athletics Administrator as Ball State University. He has performed in State Fair and Music Man here at Civic.
Clarence Casazza
Committees: Marketing, Play Selection, Various Events, and Nominations Committee
Clarence graduated from Miami University with a BS and a MBA and worked as a Administrator at Ball State University. He is now retired but has been active in Civic shows. Credits include: Music Man, Best Christmas Pageant Ever, Christmas Carol, To Kill A Mockingbird, Gypsy, My Fair Lady, South Pacific, Sound of Music, Annie Get Your Gun, You Can’t Take It With You, Cemetery Club, Fiddler on the Roof, Twelve Angry Men, Robber and Bridegroom, Sherlock Holmes, Into the Woods, State Fair, Ragtime
Jeff Rapkin
Jeff graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee with a MD and is now an Ophthalmologist/ Retina Surgeon with the Eye Center Group. Jeff has been in Footloose, Frankenstein, Ragtime and One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s nest all this season. He is also on the board for the Muncie Symphony Orchestra and the Muncie Sunrise Rotary.
Kathy Rapkin
Kathy attended Ball State University, MSW and Indiana University with a degree in Social Work. She is now a Therapeutic Riding for Handicapped Program Director at Whispering Pines Equestrian Center in Muncie. She acted in Footloose and Anne of Green Gables. She has a daughter named Rachel who is also involved in the arts at Muncie Civic Theatre.
Gregory Huffman
Greg received an AB from Indiana University and a JD from the University of Michigan. He is now an attorney with Defur Voran LLP. His new business address is 400 S. Walnut Suite 200, Muncie, IN 47305. Previously he has served as the president and vice president of the board.
Chip Etchison
Committees: Building Committee
Chip is a security consultant with Consumer Security Systems. He has been involved with previous productions of Honk, Robber Bridegroom, and Your Can’t Take It With You. He also served as the president of the board previously.
Nancy Carlson
Nancy graduated with a BA from the University of Illinois and an MBA from Ball State University in Communications. She is currently as Associate Professor with the Department of Telecommunications at Ball State University. She performed in Harvey in 1981 as Nurse Kelly and has decided to do board work since.
