Volunteer for a Show
We are currently taking applications for sound designers, stage managers, lighting designers, set designers, and stage hands (including spot light operators and scene change assistants)
Muncie Civic thrives because of the generous donations of time and support from our volunteers. From acting on stage, to taking tickets at the door, volunteers help in every aspect of our productions.

We are in need of volunteers in the following areas:
- Box Office and Front of House - we are in need of dedicated individuals who can assist us in the Box Office Tuesday - Friday from noon - 6pm. We also need ushers for performances to take tickets and show patrons to their seats.
- Actors - Please see the audition page for more information.
- Crew - We always need dedicated crew members for each production. No experience necessary. Crew members will need to be available the week before a production opens and for each production evening. Contact Marty Grubbs for more information at 288-PLAY ext 3.
- Set Construction - If you have any experience with construction please contact Marty Grubbs at 288-PLAY ext 3.
- Costume Design/Construction - If you are interested in being one of our contracted Costume Designers please contact Marty at 288-PLAY ext 3.
