GERSHWIN: AN AMERICAN HERITAGE CABARET is a unique candlelit evening celebrating the lives and music of two of the last century’s greatest composers, George and Ira Gershwin. Six actors/singers will tell the story of these great men’s lives through their music and a series of dramatic vignettes using the Gershwin’s own words as collected from interviews, articles and autobiographies. Featured songs include “Someone To Watch Over Me”, “”I’ve Got A Crush On You”, “S’Wonderful” and “Our Love Is Here To Stay.” Audiences will be seated at four-top tables and a cash bar and seasonal refreshments will be available at all evening shows with a coffee bar available at the matinee.
