Muncie Civic thrives because of the generous donations of time and support from our volunteers. From acting on stage, to taking tickets at the door, volunteers help in every aspect of our productions.

We are in need of volunteers in the following areas:

Actors- Auditions for Oklahoma (Mainstage) and Servant of Two Masters (Studio) are April 26th at 1:00 pm.

Crew- We always need dedicated crew members for each production. No experience necessary. Crew members will need to be available the week before a production opens and for each production evening. Contact Andy Bevacqua for more information at 288-PLAY ext 4, or come to the theatre Tues-Fri from 1-4 pm a couple weeks before a production opens and speak with him in person.
*We need Crew Members for Ragtime. This Sunday February 3rd at 2:00 pm is tech call. Please come if you would like to help.

Set Construction- Andy needs your help painting and building the sets for productions. Most the work happens Tues-Fri from 1-5 pm. Contact Andy for more info.

Costume Stock- Emma needs your help with costumes. The costume storage for the past couple years has been in pretty bad condition. Emma has been organizing since May and needs your help continuing to organize. Call Emma at 812-573-1584 if you would like to assist her in this endeavor.

Costume Design/Construction- Emma needs help with costume construction. Seamstresses will be a great help
*We need construction help for Anne of Green Gables. We will be pulling most the costumes but there is a significant amount of building that needs to happen. Please call Emma if you’d like to help.

Front of House- We need ticket takers for our up coming productions. Ticket takers need to be at the theatre 1 hour prior to a performance. Scheduling is flexible and we can work with your other commitments. Please call Marty at 288-Play ext. 3.

Concessions- We need concessions workers and a concession organizer.
*The concession workers would need to be available 1 hour prior to a performance and through intermission. Scheduling is flexible.
*The concession organizer would be a bigger commitment. He/She would need to work with Executive Director Marty Grubbs to order soda and candy bars as well as keep the popcorn machine in working condition.
